  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
