  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  4. Grill the flank steak for about 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is reached.
  5. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
