  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add onion, carrots, and celery to the pot; sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in cooked chicken, peas, and cooked bacon.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  7. Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir in noodles to combine.
  8. Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
