2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 cup wild rice, cooked
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup carrots, diced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken, wild rice, mushroom soup, chicken broth, peas, carrots, onion, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a healthier version, use low-fat soup and reduce the cheese.
