Creamy Cheesesteak Tortellini

  • 12 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 1 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced steak and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
  5. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  6. Stir in beef broth, cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Mix in provolone cheese until melted and creamy.
  8. Add cooked tortellini and steak back into the skillet. Stir to combine.
  9. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

Notes

  • This recipe can be easily adjusted for spice by adding jalapeños.
