  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar (for topping)
  • 4 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Soak the brioche slices in the egg mixture for about 5 minutes, allowing them to absorb the custard.
  3. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and grease with butter.
  4. Cook the soaked brioche slices for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. In a separate pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
  6. Once the French toast is cooked, sprinkle with light brown sugar and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until it is crispy and golden.
  7. Serve warm, topped with crispy turkey bacon.
