- 2 pounds flank steak
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- Season the steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak on both sides until browned.
- Place sliced onion and minced garlic in the crockpot.
- Add the seared steak on top of the onions and garlic.
- In a small bowl, mix together beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary, and thyme, then pour over the steak.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the steak is tender.
- Slice the steak and serve with the sauce from the crockpot.
