  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak on both sides until browned.
  3. Place sliced onion and minced garlic in the crockpot.
  4. Add the seared steak on top of the onions and garlic.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary, and thyme, then pour over the steak.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the steak is tender.
  7. Slice the steak and serve with the sauce from the crockpot.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the steak overnight.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
