  • 500 grams bread flour
  • 300 grams water
  • 100 grams sourdough starter
  • 10 grams salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour and water until combined. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Add the sourdough starter and salt to the bowl, and knead for about 10 minutes.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled in size, about 4-6 hours.
  4. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  5. Let it rise again until it has doubled in size, about 2-3 hours.
  6. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • For a softer crust, cover the bread with a towel as it cools.
