- 1 pound orzo pasta
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g. Gruyère)
- 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked orzo, shredded chicken, caramelized onions, chicken broth, sour cream, cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
