  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter, then mix in brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Once cooled, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the frosting.
  7. Spread the frosting over cooled brownies and cut into squares.
