Juicy Flank Steak with Soy Marinade

A mouthwatering dish featuring flank steak marinated in a savory soy sauce for ultimate tenderness and flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  2. Place the flank steak in a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the steak for 6-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For more flavor, try adding sesame oil or chili flakes to the marinade.
  • Let the steak rest to retain its juices for a more tender bite.
