Ingredients

Scale

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the flank steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the flank steak to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. While the steak is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat and add garlic, parsley, and thyme.
  5. Once the steak is done, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  6. Slice the steak against the grain and drizzle with the garlic herb butter before serving.

Notes

  • Do not skip the resting time for the steak; it helps to retain the juices.
  • You can adjust the herbs according to your preference.
