  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and roll it out into rectangles.
  6. Spread brown sugar and vanilla on top of the rectangles.
  7. Cut the dough into strips and stack them.
  8. Place the stacked strips in a greased loaf pan and allow it to rise again for 30 minutes.
