  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring water to a boil and gently add the eggs. Boil for 6-7 minutes for a soft center.
  2. Remove the eggs and place them in an ice bath to cool down quickly.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and sesame oil.
  4. Peel the cooled eggs and place them in the soy sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve the soy sauce eggs sliced on top of rice or as a snack.
